Salt Separation Services Awarded Domestic Freshwater Treatment Package Contract for Seaspan’s Multi-Purpose Vessel Program

We are thrilled to announce that we were recently awarded a major contract to provide the freshwater treatment package (design and supply) for the first flight (six ships) of Multi-Purpose Vessels (MVP) being constructed by Seaspan’s Vancouver Shipyards in Canada. This contract marks a significant milestone for us as our first partnership with Seaspan, underscoring our commitment to delivering high-quality, specialised marine solutions.

Seaspan’s MPVs, developed as part of Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS), are designed with the intention of being the pinnacle of sustainable maritime engineering and innovation within the Canadian Coast Guard’s fleet. We’re honoured to contribute to these vessels by providing freshwater systems and associated equipment that support the mission.

This contract not only strengthens our presence in the Canadian marine sector but also highlights our expertise in delivering essential infrastructure for safe and successful vessel operations. By designing freshwater systems that are both durable and efficient, we’re able to meet Seaspan and the Canadian Coast Guard’s exacting standards and regulatory requirements.

Completing the delivery of our freshwater package designs for Seaspan’s MPV will likely be followed by the first call-off for the equipment for Shipset 1.
