Isaac’s Journey at Salt Sep
Isaac, our Design Engineering Apprentice, became part of the Salt Sep team in August 2019 and has been growing his skills ever since! He’s had the opportunity to work in both the design department and as a project engineer, gaining lots of experience along the way. Coming straight from college – where he studied maths, further maths and physics – he jumped into the world of engineering. Since then, he’s earned a Level 4 HNC in Manufacturing Engineering.
Why Isaac Likes Working at Salt Sep
For Isaac, one of the best parts of working at Salt Sep is the people! He also loves getting stuck into problem-solving and figuring out creative solutions. One of his proudest achievements? Securing a spot in the design team – a goal he worked hard for and is really proud of. Along the way, he’s sharpened his problem-solving skills, strengthened his communication and learned to approach challenges from different perspectives.
A Day in the Life of Isaac
Every morning, Isaac starts off his day by setting his goals and preparing for whatever comes his way. You’ll often find him creating part numbers, designing models and drawings and reviewing important documents. There’s always a challenge to solve, and that’s what keeps things exciting!
What Isaac Does in his Free Time
Outside of work, Isaac keeps his creativity flowing with 3D modelling – because who says designing has to stop at the office? He also likes to visit the gym every now and then to stay active.
