Lewis’ Journey at Salt Sep
Lewis has worked here since September 2021, starting as a fabricator/welder. He is now our Production Manager. Before working at Salt Sep, he spent 3 years at MWH as a mechanical site supervisor installing water treatment equipment on water treatment sites throughout the UK. He then spent 4 years at Suprafilt as a fabricator/welder workshop and site-based working on aeration systems on water treatment sites throughout the UK. Lewis has a level 3 diploma in engineering fabrication and welding.
Why Lewis Enjoys Working at Salt Sep
Lewis thrives on seeing and being part of the complete build process of RO plants, from the initial design phase through to commissioning. Working at Salt Sep allows him to be a part of a professional, friendly and supportive team. He appreciates the company’s commitment to personal growth and development, as well as the recognition and support he receives for his contributions. One of his proudest achievements is becoming Production Manager and working alongside a highly skilled and high-performing team.
What a Typical Day is Like for Lewis
Lewis’ daily responsibilities include supporting his team by effectively prioritising and distributing workloads. He excels at problem-solving, identifying issues and implementing practical solutions, often requiring close collaboration with other departments to meet company objectives. His strong communication skills and ability to overcome challenges are key to maintaining smooth operations.
What Lewis Does in his Free Time
Outside of work, Lewis enjoys spending quality time with his family, including his three young children. He particularly loves taking them to the beach. In addition, he stays active by playing football, squash and going to the gym.
