Robyn’s Salt Sep Journey
Robyn O’Keefe became part of the Salt Separation Services team in September 2024, stepping into the role of Aftersales Senior Consultant. With over five years of industry experience in aftersales, she’s brought with her a deep understanding of customer support. Since joining, she has also completed her Dangerous Goods certification for road and sea transport – further developing her ability to support global customer needs.
Before joining Salt Sep, Robyn gained valuable experience in roles such as Sales Administrator and Contract Coordinator at a water hygiene company. She also holds NVQ Level 3 and 4 qualifications in Business Administration, which have strengthened her business and customer service skills.
Why Robyn Enjoys about Working at Salt Sep
Robyn appreciates the variety that each day brings – she never knows what to expect. She enjoys seeing customer enquiries through from start to finish and takes pride in delivering reliable support throughout the entire process. Solving problems, navigating complex requests and finding the right solutions has helped her sharpen her investigation, time management and organisational skills, along with strengthening her customer service skills.
What a Typical Day looks like for Robyn
Robyn’s role is a busy one. On a typical day, she handles a wide range of tasks including responding to customer enquiries, identifying and sourcing spare parts, preparing quotations and processing orders. Once an order is confirmed, Robyn arranges for parts to be manufactured or purchased, coordinates testing and quality inspections and ensures items are packed, dispatched and invoiced on time.
What Robyn does in her free time
Away from the office, Robyn enjoys spending time with her family, especially her four-year-old son. She loves getting out into the countryside for short breaks and walking her dog.
