Salt Separation Services’ design capability plays a pivotal role in the success of every project.

Our in-house process, mechanical and electrical engineering expertise is employed in designing all types of water purification plants, from complex bespoke water treatment packages to suit a specific space envelope through to standalone filtration units.

The latest engineering software packages are utilised to aid the design process, these include:

Autodesk (CAD drawing package),
Finglow (pressure vessel design software),
Membrane system design software (from various UF/NF/RO membrane manufacturers),
Scale inhibitor design software,
Pump/motor sizing software.

Our fabrication and workshop facilities enable us to perform all aspects of equipment manufacture. We have the following capacities:

Mild steel fabrication workshop: 150 m² c/w 5 tonne crane.
Stainless steel fabrication workshop: 70 m² c/w 1 tonne lift capacity.
Conventional machine shop.

We are currently redeveloping the site in order to increase the capacity of our fabrication workshops.

We are able to fabricate in carbon steel, stainless steel and exotics such as duplex/super duplex stainless steel, CuNi, and others. Our welders are fully coded. In addition, we carry out pipework fabrications in uPVC, ABS and PP.

Salt Separation Services have a purpose built assembly and testing facility.

Main assembly/test workshop: 300 m² c/w 2 x 10 tonne cranes
Membrane test facility: 70 m² dedicated area with test equipment

All equipment is fully factory tested prior to dispatch. New and refurbished water treatment plants are fully function and process tested as far as practical prior to despatch.
